Zendesk / Web Developer

I work in an iGaming company in the Frontend Development team, fine tuning and developing igaming websites for our clients.

Zendesk / Web App Developer

Here in Malta, I'm working in a company where I have to develop little web apps to integrate Zendesk with different platforms and develop Node scripts that manage several and various jobs calling the zendesk REST API in a conscious and efficient way.

Thanks to this experience I'm improving my knowledge of Javascript, Node, Angular and Typescript. Also, during my training time, I learned how to use Mocha and Jasmine for Unit

Testing and I keep learning more CSS to make our customers happy with the apps I build for them.

Main projects I have worked on :

• Development of an application using the Google Cloud Platform as a backend. I took care of the few microservices (Node functions) the app needed, of the security aspects around it, and to maintain a NoSql Database in Firebase, connected in real-time to all the online users. The app is built in Angular 8, the style is written in SASS.
• Development of an application to integrate Zendesk with Microsoft Dynamics CRM using REST APIs. The integration not only shows in Zendesk certain info taken from the CRM, but also allows in Zendesk to create and edit contacts info directly from Zendesk.
• Development of an application integrating the back office of our client inside Zendesk, using REST API to get and send data.
• Migration with a Node Script of 1 million tickets taken from 2 different systems into Zendesk.
• Customization of Zendesk Help Centre look and feel using HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript

Autonomous

During my Experience in Padua i had the chance to witness the release of Angular 2, and to fall in love with it; so I tried to develop a small hybrid application all by myself, taking care of the DB, API, UI and UX design and implementation.

To do so i used Ionic 2 which was built on the just released Angular 2, and i became very familiar with the component based web, the single page application idea, the ajax calls and TypeScript.

I developed this application using HTML 5, CSS 5 and Angular 2 using Typescript for the frontend, while for the backend i used PHP and Apache with MySql on a Ubuntu VPS set up and mantained by me.

I never tried to advertise the app, but it is still available in the Play Store ( [nom] )

After my graduation i worked for T&C System Group at one of their clients, IT Euro Consulting in Padua.

For them i worked as a Web Analytics Developer, learning more about Javascript, ajax calls and DOM handling. My job was to analyse the user experience and design an analytics strategy sending the information needed to a third party piece of software (Tealium). I had to work with Java classes and Jsp to add in the pages information not available and gather and elaborate it all to send a tracking object to Tealium.

To complete my Bachelor's Degree i did my internship at T&C System Group, working as a Unity

Developer.

Using Unity i had to develop an application that allows users to "build" houses, offices or mazes, let them paint the walls, add furniture and move around the game area.

To develop the application i had to learn the API available in Unity, i learned something about game development (Physics, 3D Space, UI&UX) and write all the code for the game items in JavaScript.

I bought and followed a complete course on Angular 2 the moment it came out. The course is very good, always up to date, and the teacher is amazing.

I have, in the years, visited the course again every now and then to stay up to date with the news.

(Please be aware that every year the author changes the title of the course when I took the course it was called "Angular 2", and not 8)
